When you are going to China on adventure tours, there are many sites that you should definitely see. One of the greatest places you will ever visit is the Great Wall of China. The Summer Palace is also a must see. While there you should take in the sights at the Ancient Capital of Xian. Do not miss the Forbidden City or the Yangzte River Valley. You will have the time of your life seeing these areas.

The Great Wall of China

Adventure tours of the Wall, are absolutely majestic and picturesque. If you are in good shape and walk well hiking trips, at the great wall, let you take in everything there is to see. You get to hike through small villages. You will also see a fortress and the Great Wall Museum. The museum will fill you in on many things you did not know about the wall. The Ancient Capital of Xian

Xian is located in the outer city of Emperor Qin Shihuang’s Tomb. There is a museum of Terracotta warriors and horses comprising a military museum. Some say this is the eighth marvel in the world. There is a 2,000 year history here. The three terracotta pits face east. Eight thousand terracotta warriors, horses and 40,000 bronze weapons give the feel that soldiers are guarding Xian. While visiting make sure you see the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Famen Temple. The architecture will amaze you. There is also a nice dinner show with talented dancers performing.

The Summer Palace

During your trip to China definitely take time to tour the Summer Palace. It has amazing parks and phenomenal views. The Summer Palace is an inviting recreational park for everyone. While there you should paddle boat across the lake and take pictures of the amazing views of Summer Palace and Longevity Hill. You also have the option to visit the Tower of Buddhist Incense and to climb Longevity Hill to the Summer Palace.

Forbidden City

Forbidden City is the largest and best-preserved ancient building in China. There are 800 buildings and 9,000 rooms in the Forbidden City museum. The architecture is formed in such a way that shows harmony in life. The museum is rather large and it is recommended that you keep a map with you, so as not to get lost.

Yangzte River Valley

When you tour this area, you will be afforded the opportunity to see pagodas, and the gateway to the Three Gorges. While taking a cruise trip, you can partake in shore excursions and get a better view of the dams.
