Get advice about TEFL job hunting...
Lauri Heikkila Well a member of our TEFL fan page said "There are supposed to be more than a billion people willing to learn to speak English. From all walks of life, from all kinds of cultures and different countries. Each of them have their own systems and requirements for English teachers. Official job ads are usually formal and call for a certain degree whereas just walking in a school or talking with people may get you work without any kind of qualification. You can start searching in a country of which language you can speak. It helps a lot, giving you advantage and props. There may be people who want to dispirit you by saying "No you can't do that!" "Keep dreaming" "You are going to need this and that... and still you can't..." Luckily teachers are usually positive persons. Negative attitude won't help you in front of the class."
