Travellers Worldwide arranges adventurous and worthwhile voluntary work placements in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Ghana, Guatemala, India, Kenya, Malaysia, New Zealand, Peru, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe. These projects are open to everybody from 17 to 99, if you’re taking a gap year, a career break or you’re retired, and all nationalities are welcome!

No qualifications are required - just enthusiasm to help, a spirit of adventure and a desire to experience a new culture from the inside. You’ll gain very valuable experience and a boost to your CV! You’ll give enormously beneficial help to local communities, making a genuine difference to their lives, and you’ll make friends for life.

WHAT YOU CAN DO:

• Teaching a variety of subjects to disadvantaged children in schools, orphanages, social care centres and crèches.

• Care and Community Development working with orphans, street kids, the elderly, children with special needs, disabilities, autism and the poverty-stricken.

• Coach Sports to disadvantaged children who often have never had any coaching in their lives (and sometimes don’t have shoes to play in). You can also play your favorite sport in clubs.

• Conservation – up close and personal with a variety of wildlife, from helping to rehabilitate abused and orphaned African animals, to research in the Amazon Rainforest, to protecting and preserving Pandas in China.

• Work Experience and International Internships – Boost your CV and kickstart your career by gaining practical experience in Journalism, Law, Medicine & Dentistry, Tourism, TV & Radio, Physiotherapy, PR, Veterinary, Hospitality, Business Skill, Architecture, Adventure Tourism, and more!

• Marine Projects: You can dive with the Great White Shark, Scuba on pristine and untouched coral reefs, or monitor Bottlenosed Dolphins, Seals and Penguins ... unbelievable!

• Drama, Dance and Music: Teach Music, Dance and/or Drama in schools in poorer communities. The Arts are an excellent means of communicating and can also be plain downright fun for the kids!

• Language Courses: The best way to learn a language is to live, eat and breathe it. Taking a course in a foreign country is fun and exciting and you also learn about the country and its people.

• Cultural Courses: Immerse yourself in Tango, Capoeira, Martial Arts, Salsa, Photography, Brazilian Music, Flying Courses, Latin American Dance, Surfing, Paragliding, Meditation in a Sri Lankan Buddhist Retreat, Conservation, Yoga, Indian Cooking … and more – learn new skills, improve existing skills … and have LOTS of fun!

• TEFL Courses: Take a weekend course with us to increase the effectiveness of your placement and make the most of your time out there.
