A small Christian charity registered in the UK & as an NGO in Zambia & Kenya with a primary aim to bring Opportunity, Education, Empowerment & Hope to people affected by poverty, HIV Aids.

In Zambia LSFA run innovative projects for widows, orphans and vulnerable families in and around Ndola. This includes a primary school for orphaned children, a Home Based Care Programme delivering community care and support for those with HIV/Aids, Day-centres for vulnerable families, Empowerment Programmes for widows, Youth Development Programmes & specialist support for children with HIV/Aids.

In Kenya LSFA are developing community programmes to tackle the issues of poverty HIV/Aids and youth outreach to street kids in Mombasa. Currently running an innovative project teaching computer skills with an internet cafe & pastoral support network.

In everything LSFA do the aim is to encourage people to be self-supporting being careful to respect cultural diversity.

LSFA offer volunteer placements for people, with a variety of skills, from 18+ years based from their purpose built accommodation at Lifespring Farm, Ndola, Zambia.

Duration / Dates

Volunteer placements of between 2 - 12 weeks available

Costs / Pay

Volunteers cover costs of travel to Ndola & all travel/health insurance
Full board accommodation at Lifespring Farm £20 per night
Discounts available for bookings over 4 weeks
