Info

Trek into untouched rainforest. Live & teach indigenous Indians & cowboys. Contribute to their conservation, community & eco-tourism projects. Fly through the jungle canopy on zip wires.

Guyana is as remote and untouched as it gets - perfect for the intrepid explorer. Situated at the top of South America, lucky enough to have the Caribbean coastline, untouched Amazon rainforest and uncultivated savannah; visited by about 2,000 of the bravest per year.

Our in-country partners, Wilderness Explorers, know this country inside out and facilitate a challenging itinerary which will take you into the heart of this country, to meet tribes balancing their ancient culture with their desire for development, traditional cowboys riding across the savannah and conservationists who battle within one of the toughest environments to save the black caiman crocodile and fresh water otters from distinction.

Along your journey you’ll speed along Amazon tributaries, trek along newly forged jungle paths, learn about tribal cultures, zip wire across the jungle canopy and witness the spectacular Kaiteur Falls. In each destination you 'll have the opportunity to contribute to their conservation and community development projects.
