Oyster is a small organisation that offers first class projects and a thorough and personal approach. The majority of our placements have been running since 2000 and have excellent participant feedback.

Your destination is managed by one of our 3 UK team members meaning that they get to know you personally, offering you help and support from the moment you apply to the moment you return from your time away. Our overseas representatives are local residents who are employed directly by us to make all the arrangements and to be a helpful friend to you whilst you are away.

Duration / Dates

The majority of our placements last for between 3-6 months. Please contact us for more information.

We also offer short term Summer to Remember placements in Nepal, Tanzania and Whistler.

We offer set group departures throughout the year. Departures at other times may be possible. Australia is slightly different in that you can arrive at Brisbane airport on any Thursday around the year.

Costs / Pay

We offer a range of placements from 12 months in Australia from £995 to 4 months volunteering in Brazil that costs from £3125
