General Info

ICYE is an ethical volunteering organisation with over 50 years of experience in international volunteering.

ICYE volunteers live and work in countries throughout Latin America, Africa, Asia and Europe, helping to support local NGO’s and aid International development. As part of a federation, ICYE ensures excellent training and support. We also host international volunteers in the UK and part of the money that our volunteers fundraise goes towards supporting international volunteers!.

Volunteers can select the project that they would like to be involved with. These range from HIV and AIDS awareness projects, to working with street children or in orphanages, to human rights or indigenous community groups as well as the environment and many more.

We send gap year students, graduates, career gapers, and other individuals to help some of the world’s most diverse NGOs. If you are 18 or over and you would like to find out more about how you can get involved, why not come along to one of our regular Information Days to meet staff and returned volunteers!
