Stay with a family for 1 to 3 months and help them with their conversational English

Experience the excitement of another country's culture for a couple of months on a budget!

Stay with a local family for 1 to 3 months and in exchange for spending 15 hours a week helping them practice English they provide room and board. You're free to spend the rest of the time travelling and experiencing the culture of your host country in depth.

Each family is interviewed and carefully screened by in-country staff and you can get to know them in advance through email and phone calls.

You don't have to be fluent in the local language either, whether you're completely new to it or just want to brush up your skills, we can arrange optional language lessons.

Duties and Responsibilities include
•Sharing your language with the host family for at least 15 hours a week Monday to Friday.
•Using our Bag of Tricks and your exclusive membership in the ESL-Lounge, provide creative, fun and informative language sessions.
•Keep your room tidy and clean and respect the host family’s rules and habits.
•Manage your own personal expenses (telephone bills, clothing, entertainment and spending money).
•Be available to help the children with their English homework.
•Play games in English with the children.
