Earth Track Education / WOLF Program

A 4 month or full year Intern Wilderness Adventure and Environmental Education Program in Canada and Thailand. Learn Survival Skills, Wildlife Tracking, Permaculture and how to Mentor Youth in those skills, teaching at our Wilderness Nature Camps.

In our 7th year of operation, we are offering 6 Intern Positions for our Programs in Phetchaburi Province Thailand and Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.
Based on Beautiful Salt Spring Island, one of the Gulf Islands off Vancouver Island, Interns will be instructed in Wilderness Living Skills and Permaculture Forest Gardening whilst assisting Instructors 3 days per week Mentoring 7-14 year old students in Nature Camps.

September to December on Salt Spring Island B.C. Canada.

January, February and March in the Forests, Beaches, Islands and Ancient Cities of Phetchaburi Province Thailand.

April to June on Salt Spring Island. July and August on the wild coasts, mountains and forests of Vancouver Island, BC Canada.

Experience living in a sustainable way through learning the Indigenous skills of two very different ecosystems and climates. Learn ESL and Cross Cultural Communication techniques.

2 days per week of hands on experiential Instruction and Adventure Expeditions. 3 days of Assistant Instructing and Learning the Art of Mentoring through working with local youth and Professional experienced Instructors. 2 days of rest and recuperation each week at the beaches, rivers, forests and towns.

Cost for the program is $4800 cdn. For the 4 month program and $12000 cdn. for the full year (11 month Sept to August with December off).

This program includes shared accommodation with other Interns, basic nutritious meals based on local foods and internal travel and education expenses. Airfare to Canada and Thailand and Insurance is not included.

Applicants must demonstrate an understanding and commitment to the values of our programs. No drugs or smoking in any programs. Appropriate Cultural dress and behaviour codes need to be appreciated and followed.
