Experience China’s fascinating culture first hand, gain work experience and an internationally recognised qualification on BUNAC’s Teach & Travel China programme.

This unique 6 month experience includes a 4 week intensive TEFL (Teach English as a Foreign Language) course in Beijing followed by 5 months teaching practice in a Chinese school.

As a teacher intern your main role will be to teach conversational English lessons. You will be expected to assist the teacher where needed or take lessons independently. You can also expect to get involved in lesson preparation and participating in after school activities and cultural events.

As well as full pre-departure and in-country support from BUNAC, you’ll travel to China with other BUNAC members and will work and live with another person on the programme.

With your food and accommodation included, and a monthly allowance this is a great value gap year or career break option.
